During those eleven short years helped build, staff and operate two large nursing homes and three assisted living facilities as an owner and an administrator. He held several local, state and national positions in related associations including President of the New York State Nursing Home Association, and President of the New York State Chapter of the American College of Nursing Home Administrators.
On a national level he met with members of Congress and the Senate securing support for matters relative to the elderly, patient care, and their rights.
All of his efforts though were over-shadowed by an over zealous prosecutor, and a wrongful conviction for medicaid fraud by an unscrupulous jury.ver menos
