During those 39-years she worked for the federal government and had a successful 20-year career in the military.
She began writing poetry in 2001 when rhyming words began to come into her mind. Ten years later, her first book, “If the shoe fit, don’t blame me” was published. Convinced that a dream had become a reality, she put pen, paper and computer down and was sure this was the end of her writing. Shortly after notifying the publisher to send the manuscript to the printer, she began to relive year 2001 again when words began to come into her mind. Determined that a second book would not take 10-years to publish, she immediately began writing what she heard in her head. “The ocean never sleeps” along with the corresponding poetic story was actually written while walking along the shore at the ocean with a pen and pad in hand. As the words continued to flow in her mind, she secured a spot on the pier and finished writing the story.
Rosie enjoys crossword puzzles, and working out at her local gym. She reads something every day; a newspaper, book, or magazine. She believes adamantly that as long as we live there is always something new to be learned.ver menos
