She is a former school library media specialist and technology integration specialist and has published articles in library and technology journals. She traveled for a number of years as an adjunct professor in a technology masters program for a university in Cambridge, Massachusetts. She was a popular speaker and presenter at regional library and technology conferences.
Having brought home animals that needed help since she was quite young, Judy has raised orphaned baby animals for the Division of Wildlife, the local cat rescue, and the county animal control. Judy is co-president of the Western Colorado Shetland Sheepdog Rescue.
Retired from education, Judy now owns her own therapeutic bodywork business called A Light Touch. She works with both people and animals, bringing comfort and ease to her clients. She especially enjoys when her clients call and begin the conversation with, “Judy would you talk to my (horse, dog, cat) and tell me what is going on?”
Judy lives with Terry, her husband of thirty-four years, in western Colorado. Her two sons are her pride and joy. Riding her horse in the mountains and semi-arid deserts is a favorite pastime. She also likes to read and photograph the wild horses, and beautiful Colorado landscapes.ver menos
