grew up analyzing why people behave the way they do. I also have a masters degree in education from Buffalo State College. My experiences are life lessons
that I have learned as a wife, mother and educator.
I was married to my first husband for 15 years and spent 5 of them in marriage counseling where I also learned more about marriages and divorce. I realized
I wasn't in a good marriage. I took what I learned into my next marriage where I have been very happy since 1999.
I wrote this book becasue my children are at the age where they are thinking about marriage and family. I want them to have the best shot at a healthy
realtionship by sharing what I have learned throughout my life, education, marriages and divorce.
I have learned that the best way to understand something is to walk a mile in their shoes. I base that on a surgery I had that left me didsabled. This
disability was a blessing in only one way. It forced me to slow down. I had to retire from teaching which I loved becasue I was helping young adults learn
how to cope with their life problems. I now talk to people who have depression, since I've been there. I have also helped people understand problems in
their relationships and ideas for how to fix them or move on since I've been there too.ver menos
