Ironically this was her source of inspiration for her books.When she was 16 years old and because of her father's declining health, she returned to the house where she was born, and shared his last years with him.On September 6, 1980, her father died after a long and painful illness, plunging her into immense depression.Before the death of her father Silvia began to write letters, these helped discharge all her grief and the letters would end up becoming a form of communication between her and her father, still to this day she continues to write these letters.Among her favorite writers were Jorge Luis Borges, Julio Cortázar, Adolfo Bioy Casares, Gabriel Garcia Marquez, Mario Vargas Llosa, Isabel Allende, Nicholas Sparks, Danielle Steel and many others.Endowed with an unique imagination for many years and with the encouragement of friends and her family that she decided to turn her scattered annotations into books.Silvia has resided since 1988 in Melbourne, Australia, with her husband and her 5 sons.Silvia Susana Torres, nació en Buenos Aires, Argentina el 13 de enero de 1962, viviendo allí hasta 1968, cuando se vio obligada a abandonar su hogar después de la separación de sus padres.Dedicó gran parte de su infancia a la lectura, lo que le permitió entrar en un mundo mágico lleno de aventuras y donde el mundo que la rodeaba parecía no tener sitio. Irónicamente, esta fue su fuente de inspiración para sus libros.Cuando tenía 16 años y debido a la salud decadente de su padre, volvió a la casa donde nació y compartió sus últimos años con él.El 6 de septiembre de 1980, su padre murió después de una enfermedad larga y dolorosa, hundiéndola en una depresión inmensa.Antes de la muerte de su padre Silvia comenzó a escribir cartas, estas ayudaron a descargar toda su pena y las cartas acabarían convirtiéndose en una forma de comunicación entre ella y su padre, hasta el día de hoy sigue escribiendo estas cartas.Entre sus escritores favoritos estuvieron Jorge Luis Borges, Julio Cortázar, Adolfo Bioy Casares, Gabriel García Márquez, Mario Vargas Llosa, Isabel Allende, Nicholas Sparks, Danielle Steel y muchos otros.Dotada de una imaginación única durante muchos años y con el estímulo de amigos y su familia decidió convertir sus anotaciones dispersas, en libros.Silvia ha residido desde 1988 en Melbourne, Australia, con su esposo y sus 5 hijos.ver menos
