At the age of 12 I felt Lord calling me into the ministry. However, as I grew in my teenage years I did not want to be a minister but a football coach. My dream was to be the first Texas coach to take a high school team like the Odessa High Bronchos to the class 5 a state championship four years in a row, and then lead the Baylor Bears to four time NCAAF champs and of course end a career as winning coach of the NFL with my Dallas Cowboys.
After I graduated high school I went one semester to a junior college and decided that this wasn’t for me. I went to work and after going from job to job I decided to go to the US Army. In the Army, I blew out my right knee and developed fallen arches. The Army was a great learning experience and shaped me to be a better leader and soldier to God.
I am married to a wonderful and beautiful Christian woman, Sharon Marie. Sharon and I will be celebrating 11 magnificent years together on September 20th. She encourages me through and support in the ministry. We currently do not have any children we did have a miscarriage in 2004.
