Through writing and performing, she molds vivid moments in which memories come alive. Her tools of imagery and sound have developed while attaining her Bachelor’s Degree in Theatre Studies at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County. Some of her writings develop into poetry for print, others form short stories or spoken word pieces for an open mic day or night. Her poems "Postscript" and "Beating Walls of Wells" are due to be published (2015) in Bartleby's creative journal, "My Dear Heart" has been published by BCF Lampstand magazine (2014). She's won Enigma Coffee House’s third place prize and Bartleby Poetry Slam’s 2nd place prize (2013) for spoken word.Enchanted by the vibrations of consonant sounds and the resonance of her favorite vowels, MaBelle enjoys translating text into performance. While at UMBC, she has been in the plays Straight Nappy, House of Yes, and Diversity, Disparity and Dialogue (3D). Her performance in 3D got her nominated for the Kennedy Center American College Theater Festival (2012). MaBelle's mission is to produce meaningful and impacting work that empowers, inspires, and strives to reflect perfection.ver menos
