After leaving the Marine Corps, I spent the next 11 years working as an intelligence analyst, researcher, and reporter within the National Security Agency and Central Intelligence Agency against terrorism threats, counter-proliferation targets (preventing the illegal trafficking of strategic weapons systems or elements thereof, such as ballistic missiles and nuclear weapons components), and hostile military forces, ultimately directing a large intelligence team against Saddam Hussein's military forces during Operation Iraqi Freedom. I currently live in eastern Connecticut with my wife, Mona, and two of our five children.
