The town, which means "between rivers," was a small Jewish shtetl, East of Warsaw. The son of a tailor and the thirteenth of eighteen children, Moshe expressed an interest and a talent for drawing and painting at an early age. After some schooling he got married. Paula, his wife, ran an art store in Warsaw to support the family and Moshe continued to pursue his passion for painting. They had two children, Isia (a daughter) and George. Moshe perished in the Majdanek concentration camp.ver menos
