Dr. Davis served as a classroom instructor at the University of Hawaii prior to moving to Bloomington, Indiana and completing requirements for his PhD in Rhetoric. He served as a Teaching Associate...ver maisDr. Davis served as a classroom instructor at the University of Hawaii prior to moving to Bloomington, Indiana and completing requirements for his PhD in Rhetoric. He served as a Teaching Associate at Indiana and remained another year as an instructor before moving to the University of Alabama, Birmingham where he was appointed an Associate Professor. In 1978, Dr. Davis accepted a position at the University of Tennessee as Director and Professor of the Tennessee Center for Labor Management Relations. He retired from that assignment in 1997. After retirement, he returned to the classroom and taught 10 years at Middle Tennessee State University.
Dr. Davis’ work as a consultant for 30 years took him into 42 states and groups in access of 5,000. He worked with large corporations, small business and non-profits in the field of workplace culture, organizational development, and conflict management.
