His first ship stopped in Newport, Virginia and was due to return to Germany, but through visualization asked the captain to change his contract to the U.S.A. There he eventually settled in the Portland, Oregon area. The book The Message of a Master by John McDonald inspired him to devise his own system of visualization, “in order to pass on the information for the younger generation.” Wiehl, who was married to Mildred (1910-1999), died in Portland in 1981 and lies buried in Finley-Sunset Hills Memorial Park.ver menos
