Using as a model, the example set by Minister Malcolm X, I decided upon being judged not by my past cretinism, but rather my intellect. Imprisoned for a crime not committed, [ex con in possession of a gun], sentenced to 25 years to life [California 3 strikes provisions], reading had the following dualistic purpose:
• Providing the necessary tools [Jurisprudence] to execute an effective appeal; and
• Providing a mental escape from the reality of being incased in a prison cell comparable in size to a double wide grave plot.
The newly discovered knowledge that I could free my mind [spirit], from a body that I came to regard as having less relevance by comparison, provided a freedom of which I’d known not that I’d been deprived, by a captor [myself] equally unbeknownst to me.
This phenomenon awakened me to the realization of my dualistic existence and that in which I would later dub as ‘carnival mirror theory’ (See e.g. book 3).
Imprisonment at the hands of the prison warden became less relevant when juxtaposed with the newly discovered knowledge of having always been self-imprisoned.]
As though this book had written itself, it was only with my final stage of awakening, that I regained my physical freedom.
