Each poem is a peek into the very depths of being a Christian in a world fraught with trials and triumphs. Psalms and poetry to God reach beyond this world to the next as the Holy Spirit’s guidance allows the words to flow through her in an outcry to God.
Dannette was diagnosed at an early age with Crohn’s disease, an illness that nearly killed her. But through treatments and surgeries, she became a survivor, and it was a miracle of God’s grace. A broken marriage and divorce took her down a perilous path of running away from God. She found love and hope again as God began to heal her wounds with his unconditional love. The loss of her father and hero made Dannette fall into a deep depression and robbed her of her joy as the sorrow began to pull her back away from God. However, a still small voice began to whisper in her ear, and the writings flowed through her as she opened God’s Word and let him take control of her life once more.
Dannette is a licensed insurance and real estate agent in Arkansas. Her loving husband, Brent, always expresses the love of her poetry and feels it is a gift from God. Noel Ashlyn and Haven Amber, her daughters, love to listen to her writings and inspire her with their gifts of love and support. God’s divine intervention has pulled her from a pit of despair and placed her on a rock of redemption. She prays that each reader will find a poem that will relate to what they are feeling and can help heal the heartbroken through God’s words of salvation.ver menos
