WHITED was born in Gastonia, North Carolina, and was raised, for the most part, in northern Ohio. She now resides in Murfreesboro, Tennessee, and is the mother of three grown sons, and grandmother of three grown grandchildren. Cynthia worked as a public relations director and special events coordinator for several radio stations in southwestern Pennsylvania, as well as community promotional work for the Chamber of Commerce. She extended her marketing skills and graphic artistic talent to help promote country music recording artists internationally, with her company, CTW Agency, being selected as a nominee for the European Country Music Associations “Best Company of the Year” Award. Cynthia is also a published songwriter, poet, and has co-written numerous books on her family genealogy; that she and her siblings have worked on for the past twenty years. Cynthia’s professional business skills as an independent toy designer and cottage industry CEO (developing high school plush/stuffed mascots) were recognized by the coveted Manchester Who’s Who of Executives & Professionals where she received inclusion in their Registry as an honoree member. Cynthia recently decided to publish her Christian faith-based children's books, of which she wrote and illustrated years ago when her grandchildren were still very young. They were test-marketed in numerous Sunday School classrooms, secular grade schools, and various Blue Bird, Girl Scout, and Cub/Boy Scout troop meetings, etc. “All the children thoroughly enjoyed them, and responded enthusiastically to the lesson plans as well,” Cynthia said. “The art illustrations were a real labor of love, and I think they make the stories more relatable for the children.”ver menos
