Descrição

Today's episode is in English and, I confess, I was very excited to release this podcast. This podcast got me in a way that I can't explain, and I really hope it will make a lot of people think about privileges and opportunities. Luis Yanes is my guest today - he was born in Guatemala and now he is an American citizen who lives in New York with his wife Sarah. But, his journey was neither easy nor obvious. Lui and his family crossed the US border when he was only 6 years old. That was all I knew about his story when we turned on the microphone. Throughout our conversation, I was able to learn more about your history, about the reality of his life before this risky step his father decided to take and how opportunities are not the same for everyone.
