Sobre este e-book

Steeped in war, conflict, disease, envy, crime and immorality, humanity has missed out on thousands of years of development. Instead of divine inspiration, fear, hatred, and doubt overwhelm minds and hearts. Distance from God's presence has caused the history of humanity to be a series of errors leading to destruction.

The real meaning of the cross - Marcelo Crivela

    Introduction

Man was created in the image and likeness of Almighty God. But by trespassing the limits set by Him man lost his perfection and his communion with the Father.

At that moment, humanity lost peace, strength, love, and dominion over the Earth.

As we become servants of the one whose voice we obey, man became acquainted with the yoke of the devil and saw his nature change.

Our holy and perfect Creator cannot bear sin or imperfection. He created all things and now He sustains them by His power. He did not create imperfection—the devil did.

As the source of justice and righteousness, the Lord cannot accept what is wrong; if He did, He would not be God. Because of this, the one who lives a sinful life cannot have communion with Him. This is what death is all about! Death is being cut off from God. Death is we in our darkness cut off from His light, we in our sin cut off from His holiness, we in our impurity cut off from His purity.

God’s justice is the foundation of His existence and holiness and demands that He depart from what is wrong and imperfect. A part of His divine nature is that none rule over Him.

For precisely this reason man was cast away from His presence and only through the Holy Spirit, the Spirit of Creation, can man be restored to his original state.

But how can the Holy Spirit work in those who are in the hands of the devil, under a death sentence and far from God’s presence? How can God’s justice be served, and man be saved? This is what you are about to find out in the following pages.

    Chapter 1

    The Creation: Amazing love

What few people know about the creation of the universe is that God, the Supreme Being, wanted and still wants to share His greatness with His creatures. Since the beginning His plan has been to make human beings like Himself, to make them gods, not for them to be worshipped—only God must be worshipped—but to be like Jesus.

Everything in the heavens, all the planets, all the different kinds of energy, light and darkness, lands and seas, fauna and flora were created not only to impress us (or frighten us into obedience to Him) but to reveal to man the great glory and power of his Father.

It was the dream of Paradise where God would come at sunset, day after day to teach His creature all knowledge, the principles of science and the laws of nature. In this perfect communion of feelings and mystery and the knowledge of all things, the Creator wanted His creature to become like Him.

Remember that in the beginning all the minerals and metals, precious stones, and energy (wind, water, coal, electricity, and oil) and all physics and chemistry laws were just waiting to be dominated by man.

As God said, Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth (Genesis 1:26).

Therefore, God made man in His image and likeness, with the potential to be like Himself one day, as it is written in Psalm 82:6, I said, ‘You are gods, and all of you are children of the Most High.’

Can you think about this for a second? Can you imagine the Everlasting God loving us in such a way that He wants to make us like Himself? This is it! Can you see yourself understanding all science and being so perfect that you would never need to do what is wrong? Infinity of all knowledge and love!

It sounds impossible, but I tell you, dear reader, this is God’s ultimate purpose.

For this reason, and to accomplish this work for those He has chosen, God has endured all the sins and crimes that mankind has committed against Him. And with respect to these crimes and sins, we should remember that since our first father was separated
