There are individual and collective judgments, so we'll dissect the biblical texts to interpret them and put them in order of time, for the last judgment of God is the most important, is the Last Judgment. The certainty that one day God will judge everyone, and give to each according to his works, is part of the empirical and intimate knowledge of all men, so in many world religions belief in a Judgment its part of their creeds.

MONTE Santos; bachelor's degree in theology from the

INTRODUCTION

In the Bible there are several judgments of God

that happened and who follow happening, others stil hap-

pen in the future. There are individual and collective judg-

ments, so we'll dissect the biblical texts to interpret them

and put them in order of time, for the last judgment of God

is the most important, is the Last Judgment. The certainty

that one day God will judge everyone, and give to each

according to his works, is part of the empirical and intimate

knowledge of al men, so in many world religions belief in

a Judgment its part of their creeds.

THREE FISH TYPES

Jesus Christ speaking of the kingdom of heaven

he compares humanity to three types of fish, and that the

kingdom of heaven message is like a net thrown into the

sea. Not al people are reached with the kingdom mes-

sage, so much so that only a part of humanity is called

Christian. In the end times, God will send angels to sepa-

rate the good from the bad fish. Good fish will be placed in

the baskets and the bad thrown out. At the end of the

parable Jesus said the unfortunate will be cast into the

fiery furnace. A parable can not be interpreted literal y, in

every detail, and Jesus left out the question of fish that

have not been caught, but by inference understand that

these fish are not caught those who were not attracted by

the Gospel.

Surely they will not be saved, because the Bible

does not understand that there are several paths that lead

to God, only Jesus is the Way. All followers of other reli-

gions, agnostics, atheists or without religion will be left out

of the basket (Kingdom of God). Interestingly, the simple

fact of accepting Christianity as a religion as belief, adopt-

ing its tenets, it will not be this intel ectual acceptance that

a person will enter the basket. We can say that al Chris-

tians enter the boat, but only a few will enter the basket.

On Judgment Day, we will know who is who. We can not

say with certainty who is hypocritical.
